M.Napooleao has born in Portugal in 1964. In the latest 60s together whit his parents he went to live in Mozambique where he start to experience the first African rhythms. In the 70s when the explosion of the hippies and because the influence of his older brother and sister he had the opportunity to listen and joy the best music of that time. In 1986 after six years living back in Portugal he went to live in Holland where he found his home. In Amsterdam back in 1990 he has been invited by Dj Color blind, now well Know as Dj 4way to joy in a few sessions on Radio 100, actual free radio station in this town he has found a opportunity to have his first radio show called Soul Devolution a weekly program joined by a team of great musicians and DJs here he meet the English scene of acid jazz. In 1998 after stopping his own project at radio 100 he has started to perform live in clubs and coffeshops from the actual scene in town. Few years ago he finally meet other DJs like groove master Jonhson from Bubbling club that gave him a opportunity to promote and perform to a larger public between places like Solaris and Mangos in Zandvoort , Paradiso, Club Zen and some other local clubs in Amsterdam together with the artists and DJs like Eddy de Clerc, Groove master Jonhson, DJ Roog, DJ Rashid and some other DJs of the actuality. In 2003 hi as funded Organic Life Music, a independent label where between other activities is coordinating a group of Dj,s from a local coffeshop in Amsterdam, the Kashmir lounge, one of the favourite lounges in town. Few years ago hi start is hone productions at is hone studio Organic Life Music studio, the dream finally came true, and together with David Kox hi start what would be came to be is moor important project, The 2Mentall. M.Napoleao has been since then inspired by the incredible chemistry between the two musicians and the amazing cast of guest musicians as Jos De Haas, Stefan Schmid, Eddy Weldman, Geni Pereira, Cafuzo, Edit Mossel, Piotr Van Moock, Ben Mendes, and many, many others they have created a incredible fusion of music styles, Broken beats, Nu jazz, Asia lounge and of curse, Brazilian music. Together with the African rhythms and other world flavours he has found the great- heated expression of dance music.
