PATRICK "SMILEY" KUSCHEL was born on january 5th, in the year the 1st man walked on the moon. He grew up with a mixture of Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, played by his two older brothers on a crappy stereosystem, and classical music played by his mom on the piano.
At the age of 12 he became his 1st accoustic- and one year later his 1st electric guitar. Playing blues and (power)chords for a while was nice, but playing basslines on a guitar felt much better! But how would it be on a real electric bass with a big amp with a lot of speakers? How would that sound? How would that feel? So finaly at the age of 16 he had saved some money, just enough to buy a bass. So he went to the local store and bought one...
Later came the amps, and they kept on getting bigger and bigger...
