I'm Romi Anauel.
I was born in the south of Angola. I've been living in Portugal since I was two years old.
The ancestors from my mothers side are from the Nile region, they belonged to the tribe of Nomad. They walked across Africa, down to the South of Angola untill the border with Namibia. I'm very happy to feel my roots. I'm a singer, songwriter, dancer... at this moment I play with the band Terrakota and i'm preparing my own work.
I Like every kind of music as long as the music is soulfull and true...
I'm here, if you have some idea that i can make part of ...let's go!!
I've put here four tunes:
First tune is "Desert Zeppelin", a song that was created in a fluid way and from an improvisation session. it's about turning back to the roots and it's on the first album of Terrakota.
Second tune "Saudosa malouca" is an old brazilian lyric, i like it because it talks about a human being without a homeland...made it with MoFrancesco.
Third "I Say Minina" one more time I talk about the homeland, soul and good self valuation, it's on the second album of Terrakota, "Humus Sapiens".
Fourth tune, "Waiting for You", my jazzy flow...it was made it in collaboration with MoFrancesco also.
