About Me

Amber Rubarth In The Creases
..lyrics: You're the smell of the toast that you made in the mornings. You're the page in my book that I keep to myself. You're the unlocking sound when I turn my door key. You're the scar that I have from the time that I fell. I can't describe the faces. I can't recall the names, but you remain. *** I keep you in the creases, I hide you in the folds. Protect you from the sunlight, shield you from the cold. Everybody said they were glad to see you go; and no one ever has to know. *** You're the part of the moon that blends into the blackness, even though we know it's really still there. You're the song that I sing that I don't need to practice. You're the green shoes I keep though they're too small to wear. I can't describe the places. I can't recall the names, but you remain. *** I keep you in the creases, I hide you in the folds. Protect you from the sunlight, shield you from the cold. Everybody said they were glad to see you go; and no one ever has to, no one ever has to Know the things that I refuse to see and all the nights I still can't sleep I curl up in the sheets between the creases where you used to be. *** Once love wakes it never sleeps. Even when you love a dream.. *** co-written by amber rubarth + alex wongBy Swell Season, Song: Falling SlowlyYvonne Elliman "Everything Must Change" song written by Bernard Ighner put to a beautiful collage of pictures. Another favorite drummer and sweet friend ///////////// Some of my own songs, music & words written by me. That's my voice and my playing also. Unfortunately the tape quality is low and distorted so you can't hear them at their best and maybe that's a good thing?? Don't mess with Keith Richards.... my hero!

Music:

Gov't Mule and many, many others...............................Before MySpace, with most artists acting on behalf of themselves and no chance of hearing them on radio, it was impossible to find the talent I've found here on MySpace, even here in my own country, even within 5 miles of my home town! I am amazed!! But now with a click of a button you can travel next door or half a world away and find every gendre, every style, avant garde to pure folk, extreme metal to ambient, traditional or experimental... and everyone has the same little box or vids to display themselves to the world. You don't have to travel to Paris or Croatia to fall in love with a new song or artist. MySpace has brought their music to me and has inspired me to purchase their music, seek them out in concert, etc. I am honored to have these artists on my MySpace page, they are all truly, so talented. I cannot fit you all in my favorites but please know that I really love your music and appreciate each and every one of you and will endeavor to play your songs so friends of mine who visit can hear some new and exciting artists too. Thank you all for taking the time out of your busy schedules and making your music available to me and the rest of the world. I hope we will meet somewhere down the road. Peace to all and God bless.... //////////There are a number of artist that I cannot play on my site because they have not turned on their add button for whatever reason(I'm sure it's a good one!) but if you travel through my friends you will find such a wealth of talent. It will amaze you!////// For your listening pleasure, the Waterboys //////// SWEET THING 06

He makes me stop and rest for quiet intervals. He provides me with images of stillness, which restore my serenity. He leads me in ways of efficiency through calmness of mind. And his guidance is peace.Even though I have a great many things to accomplish each day, I will not fret, for His Presence is here. His timeliness, his all-importance, will keep me in balance. He prepares refreshment and renewal in the midst of my activity, by anointing my mind with His oils of tranquility. My cup of joyous energy overflows.Surely harmony and effectiveness shall be the fruit of my hours, and I shall walk in the Place of my Lord and dwell in His house forever. - 23rd Psalm paraphrase by All Saints Convent in Maryland
