I’m a Southern-California-based co-worker with Share International , a worldwide network of volunteers associated with British author and esotericist Benjamin Creme. We provide information about an extraordinary event that is now taking place. Here is the gist of it:
Would anyone argue that the world has had enough of hunger, poverty, injustice, war, epidemic disease and pollution? If we continue on our present course, the planet and all its inhabitants will self-destruct in a couple of decades (at the most)!
But does any rational person think that is really God's (by whatever name you call him) plan? We are spiritual beings, destined to manifest that full potential and construct a new world in which all can have the basic necessities of life; can live in peace, free from fear of themselves or their brothers; free to create from the joy in their hearts; free to be themselves, in simple honesty.
And to ensure that we don’t miss this 11th hour opportunity, the Elder Brothers of the human family are once again taking up outer roles. These "Masters of Wisdom" have long since met all the challenges of life on earth and know the solutions to the myriad problems that are strangling our political, social, economic, spiritual and environmental life. Imbued with the highest form of love and compassion, they eagerly await (under the law of freewill) our invitation to come forward and work at our side.
At the head of this group of Enlightened Ones is the World Teacher for this age. He is the One who is long awaited by various spiritual traditions, although they call him by different names. About this One, Benjamin Creme says:
"Soon you shall see this man of extraordinary qualities. Recognize him by his spiritual potency; his wisdom and breadth of view; his inclusiveness and love; his grasp of human problems and ability to indicate the solutions to man’s dilemma – political and economic, religious and social."
According to the World Teacher, whose personal name is Maitreya (expected in the Buddhist tradition as Maitreya Buddha): "The problems of mankind are real but solvable. Take your brother's need as the measure for your action and solve the problems of the world. There is no other course." In a word, this means sharing equitably the bounty of this planet among all people.
I hope by my participation in the myspace community to simply make open-minded people aware of what is happening and encourage them to vigorously pursue whatever line of service to the world they may be engaged in. Every single person's contribution is immensely important!
Another service which Share International provides is networking individuals to form transmission meditation groups throughout the world. This is a world service activity which also has tremendous benefits for the individuals involved. It's a scientific process, overseen by these Masters of Wisdom, to "step down" the very high spiritual energies constantly streaming into this planet, making them more useable by humanity and the other kingdoms in nature.
