About Me

Chantelle Pike is a singer/songwriter currently living in Oxford, where her pure, gutsy and distinctive voice is well known on the local scene, as is her mop of red hair. Chantelle sings profoundly autobiographical songs whose wrenching honesty and humour are accompanied by her guitar, and various other instruments depending on her mood.
Over the last year Chantelle has built up a new band and she now plays with her drummer Joachim and bassist Matt, with whom she has recorded a long-awaited EP. Produced by Mark Gardener, formerly of Ride, Chantelle Pike EP is available to buy now at gigs and throughchantellepike.com .
Chantelle grew up on a farm in Wiltshire where she frequently sang to the cows. She has now been in Oxford for a few years, having treaded the primrose path of dalliance all over the place, and finally settling on a barge on the canal with her song-writing partner Timm Green. However, Chantelle now lives in a normal house with central heating.
