About Me

Born in Cornwall, raised in Surrey. Escaped to London, then Devon, then Oxford, then London again. Occasionally pass through Surrey when I have to, and marvel.First started writing poetry on a trip around the States and then progressed to songwriting when I got home to Totnes and realised that I would never truly qualify as a hippy if I didn't.Soon got bored of being a hippy. Moved to London and bought my first pair of stilleto boots. Got married soon after (often wonder if the two things are related?!)Unable and unwilling to afford property (blah, blah) moved onto a canal boat with Sean and entered a life of elsan toilets and freedom.Started making my album back in 1996 - began recording in the back of a cowshed with Julian Saunders in Torquay and added to it over the years. I listen to it now and it brings back a whole myriad of memories and connections. However, got a little sidetracked and haven't yet released it! Although its all about to happen over cyberspace which I am excited about. (God. It began practically before the internet was even invented!) But, in the meantime, I wrote and directed two plays "The Misdemeanours of the House of Ravenous" and "The Hunchback of Bethnal Green". Then decided I might soon develop a penchant for killing actors so decided to write a novel instead. Its called "The Paradise Project" and its theme is whether to instigate revolution through violence or non-violence. Consequently, I am still looking for a publisher.Recently gave birth to Oak. The love of my life. Every day he puts everything into perspective. I adore him.

Well hello, We are staying in London for Christmas. Thank God. Thousands of people are heading for the hills and leaving the streets free of their elbows and bags of christmas shopping. The whole city...
