About Me

My name is Michelle Cable. I was due to be born on Christmas Day but held on in there because sharing a birthday with the supposed saviour of mankind would just of been added pressure that I really didn't need. Instead I turned up on 30th 1967 and am now used to no-one actually giving a shit. A Parker pen or a packet of knickers were all I ever dreamt of on this joint 'celebration'..."Oh and that's for your birthday as well".March 1967 I've read, was a particularily hard spring and what with me mam and dad only having a black and white telly and a meagre 3 channels...voila! I'm the youngest of five in a non catholic family, apparently the rubbers in them days were shit. Even now I have a profound fear of confined spaces and marigold gloves. This was my beginning and the rest is history...ya get what ya see, simple as.REVIEWS OF ME BOOK & SHOWS AND THAT: "The Victoria Wood of The Poetry World" -Visible Darkness Productions. "Strange, Absorbing and Contagious" -The Scottish Herald. "Passionate, eloquent and very funny" - The Stage. 'I'm not being funny but...' "Very Funny, Yeah I like that a lot!" - Roger McGough. "I enjoy the personal experience work" - John Hegley. "You're shit Hot you are kidda, great" - John Cooper Clarke.
