When I was 14 I wrote my first song on piano. When i was 15 a friend lent me her guitar and i thought to myself, "GCSE's or Nirvana?". I picked the latter. But i never looked back. Since then, due to the bliss of avoidance tactics, i have written an album every time i've had a deadline, and of course, I have stayed in academia as long as humanly possible. To avoid getting a job. In 1998 I recorded 'Les Poires' and in 2004, 'Typical Tortured Soul'. Black Eyes is from an album called 'Shy Man's revenge' and 'Number 1 fan' is an acoustic version of a punk song, from '29 Coronation Road'.
Right now i'm putting together an e.p. of my newest songs. I'm gigging, open micing, writing, creating, riding the proverbial wave, and just going with it, getting myself out there! Fun times ahead!
