Influences: Eliksir is influenced by a lot of different styles, for example progressive rock, jazz, traditional music from Norway, Ireland and Arabic countries. Artists that she admires and has collected inspiration from over the years are - among others - early Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Sting, Police, Beatles, Renaissance, Yellowjackets, Clannad, Sade Adu, Bel Canto, Breandan Hara, Mary Black, Afro Celt Sound System, Jethro Tull, Supertramp, Pink Floyd and Loreena McKennitt and many many many more. Recent inspirations are mostly found in the rock category.
