Craig Lyons is a passionate singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and recording engineer with a bright future. As a professional musician, Craig has released three entirely self-recorded, self-produced, solo albums under independent label Grayscale Records, and is currently working on his fourth.
Craig’s solo albums are licensed by MTV and his music has receivedairplay on The Real World to over 100 million viewers worldwide. Craig recently signed a deal with Roadside Couch Records, a brand new branch of FirstCom Music/Universal, for licensing in film & TV, and was nominated for a 2007 Los Angeles Music Award.Craig's music has benefited charities including the massively successful Feed333 program, and soon to include a tour of northern Ireland for Eagle Creek. Today, Craig calls Los Angeles his home and his new backing band is composed of some of LA’s finest players. He has played at some of the best clubs in the Los Angeles area and recently graced the stage at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, as well at the 2007 NAB convention for tens of thousands of people.Craig’s recent release titled, “Goodbye You†is receiving rave reviews and attracting attention internationally. The album attracted the attention of Zara Kaufman who then interviewed Craig for Musikgeil.dk, one of Denmark’s leading music magazines.In addition, Craig’s sophomore album, “Equilibrium Theory: Vols. I & II,†continues to air among Princeton Review’s “Top 20 College Radio Stations,†including 2 WSBU - 88.3FM, 3 WICB -91.7FM, 6 WVCR - 88.3FM, and 9 WSOU - 89.5 FM.
