05/27/08 Showcase Nominees - Brian Judah, Manda, Mika Cole, Dillon Campbell
The 18th Annual LA Music Awards is fully underway with pre-production planning taking place every day leading up to our main event scheduled for Thursday November 20th at the Music Box Theater in Hollywood. The annual LA Music awards Voting Party is now scheduled for Thursday, October 16th. There will be 20 primary categories with five nominees in each that will be voted on by both panel members, fans and general public.
2008 will also bring celebrity rock photographer, Steve Haning to the main event at the Music Box Theatre. Haning, well known for his work at shooting arena and stadium concert events, will be our official photographer for the LA and Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards events. Steve shoots some of the biggest name in music including Leann Rimes, Rush, Alan Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Collective Soul just to name a few. Steve Haning will also receive a Hollwood F.A.M.E. With the merger of the Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards and the LA Music Awards having taken place in January of this year, the celebrity recipient list for 2008 is the best one ever. With some of the biggest sames from the motion picture, television and music industries in attendance this year, all of our nominees from the world of independent music will have the opportunity to fraternize with the elite of the entertainment industry. Once again, the Los Angeles Music Awards and it's 18th annual presentation have proven itself to be the number one Hollywood music awards event on earth.
