Ladies and Gentlemen and Everyone in between..... Enter the Lost World of THE FLASH MONKEY presents CABARET CASBAH - a Burlesque Bazaar of exotic entertainment, all with Live Music. After show club until late, attracting crowds of up to 800 people.
Be entertained by Circus & Fairground Sideshow Acts, Burlesque Beauties & Oddities. Performers are all glorified & adored for their extraordinary talents & beauty in all the many forms these take.
The Flash Monkey draws influence from the best, but not always the most obvious, music & performances of the past, while adding new personalised inventions into the mix. All music for the show is performed live, no pre-recorded music is used. Live music allows for spontaneous improvisation and interplay between the performers, audience and band.
Although The Flash Monkey is by no means a slave to tradition, using exclusively live music for acts is also much more in keeping with the spirit of the previous heydays of burlesque & cabaret of the 1920's to the early 50's.
All of the shows are different with new music & acts, many unique to us.
