They said she's a "Glamorously true and Truely glamorous Booty Pin-Up"

About Me

I've studied History of Art (5th year's Sorbonne University diploma) working on worldwide glamour icons from the end of the XIXth century 'till the 1960's, specialized in 1890-1920 Belle Epoque's show-girls mecanic representation (photography and cinema).
I've worked for art center as a director and a documentalist and for TV as an assistant of redaction.
BESIDES I COULD SAY I'M AN ARTIST... NOPE?

-Medhi Haddab "Speed Caravan" (rock/ electro/ oriental) in a homestudio, Paris (David Husser prod.)
-Lady Rocks (stoner rock/power pop) at Studiovan (Dirty Fingers prod.)

I dance ( I've tried a lot of way of dancing : I did classic classes, jazz, hip-hop, funk, african, oriental, flamenco, salsa, tap dancing, rock'n roll...) and a day I hope dancing well swing, beebop and rock'n roll. What about flamenco dancing? I want to express the passion in me...
I just began ragga dancehall classes. It's the best sport in the world!!!
I model, sometimes posing for photographers, most of time for retro style from 1920's to 1960's because of the aesthtetic I'm fond of and the vintage clothes and accessories collection i've got and sometimes posing just because of my expression's power (dixit a lot of photographs...)
Check out my myspace galleries to get an idea...
and I love collaborating with different artists in general and modeling... For example, a kind of phantom of me, of the phoographied me entered B.'s world: Retrocity.
I act... check out Naommon's "Love's a strugglin'" clip... I act into!
Mixing all that stuff, I also used to do exhibitions and performances with Lunah (see her on myspace or on her website: http://lunah911.site.voila.fr/).We used silent theatre, dance, voice music, and video to talk about ambivalence, scyzophrenia and feminity. We were creative, passionate, cynical and ironical... and we did everything by ourselves. We appeared on fetish nights or on stage with Punish Yourself or LTNO.
Actually, I gladly take part of MurderSuicidePresents shows acting, singing and dancing.

And then... what about my mind? let's discover it... it's too difficult to tell about me, everybody could say something different and me too! But it's a fact... I need to express myself!
BobSleg described me as "TRUELY GLAMOUROUS GLAMOUROUSLY TRUE"... what do you think about?

My Interests

In a general way... ART... because it means a lot of things for me.

Art sleeps in each thing and everywhere all around... Use it to understand the kind and the degree of sensitivity your brain is made of.

and then... check out the lesson about the anchor's phenomena...

I'd like to meet:

I'm always looking for professionnal proposals concerning all these activities, and people who wants to talk about with me too! Let's question me about what you want.

You've been marked on my visitor map!

Music:

I won't quote each band or singer I listen to but the styles of music I need to listen to:

rock'n roll

rockabilly

psychobilly

surf music

punk rock

english pop

true batcave (because it's easy to stop with gothic clothing, not with music...)

30's-40's swing

crooners

jazz but not free-jazz

blues (the old black guys next Mississipi...)and old rythm & blues

electro 80's (don't forget the Cheyennes, babe!) and early 90's (Naommon's lesson! yes teacher yes!)

retro french singers and some of contemporary ones that are able to create something interesting with magic words... Benjamin B. m'a transcendée...

flamenco (I discovered singing and dancing flamenco, it changed my life!)

oriental music

reggae and ragga dancehall

hip-hop and r&b

Movies:

every movie by Almodovàr

every movie by Claude Chabrol

french "melodrames"

mute and strange movies from the 20's-30's (burlesque cinema, "films noir"...)

old american movies with gentlemen and ladies... Hollywood baby!

every movie by Russ Meyer and most of all "Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill!"

every movie by John Waters and most of all "Cry baaaaaaaaaaaaaaby!", "Pink Flamingos" and "Serial Mother"

fucking movies or musicals I watched when I was a teenager ("La Boom", "Dirty Dancing", "Grease"...)

movies about vampires, romantic or rock 'n roll ones... bite's danger...

and concerning nowaday's cinema I love these actors: Javier Bardem, Vincent Gallo, Benoit Magimel, Jeremy Irons, Isabelle Huppert, Benoît Poelvoorde...

Television:

Most of all, I think I like watching "Un Dos Tres"... no no I don't feel ashamed!!! (and I'm sad there's no more on TV)

I love "Sex & the City" and "Desperate Houswives" too... and "Heartbreak High" makes me keep in mind my teenage!

TV is often turned on but I never watch it; it's a sound like people all around, not to feel lonely 'cause with music I can't concentrate. Too much memories...

Sometimes, I watch Daily News as an adult or social documentaries... "Striptease" for exemple... I love "normal" people on TV!!!

Watching TV is a good thing to fall asleep... Watch AB1 at midnight and forget everything! ahahah

Books:

XIXth and early XXth century's novels

poetry

books about History, Music, Sociology, Philosophy, Dance, treatises on Art, biographies and autobiographies...

Today, I could mention all Stefan Zweig, JP Sartre's "Les Mots", Bret Eston Ellis's Glamorama, Goethe's Werther, Arnaud Goetz's La Dormeuse de Naples, Colette's La fin de Chéri, Benjamin Constand's Adolphe,Michel Houellbecq's Lz Possibilité d'une Ile R-M Rilke, Billetdoux's C'est fou une fille Alfred de Musset....

and forever and ever Roland Barthes's Fragment du discours amoureux"... The Bible...

Well, for my nostalgic mind, I have to talk about all Poppy Z. Brite, Baudelaire and Rimbaud (teenage... but it stays!)

Heroes:

ELVIS...

FEMININE ICONS FOR AGES...

AND SEXY RIVALITY BETWEEN THEM... grrrr...

br>

WITHOUT FORGETING ANONYMOUS ONES...

-Early 19th Century's french cancan's balls dancers and western burlesque queens
-Prostitutes who got tatoos in the early XXth Century
-Women that drew stockings on their legs during World War II.....

And...girls in a *dangerous* situation...
Betty Page - Escape from Bondage..
