In a general way... ART... because it means a lot of things for me.
Art sleeps in each thing and everywhere all around... Use it to understand the kind and the degree of sensitivity your brain is made of.
and then... check out the lesson about the anchor's phenomena...
I'm always looking for professionnal proposals concerning all these activities, and people who wants to talk about with me too! Let's question me about what you want.
You've been marked on my visitor map!
I won't quote each band or singer I listen to but the styles of music I need to listen to:
rock'n roll
rockabilly
psychobilly
surf music
punk rock
english pop
true batcave (because it's easy to stop with gothic clothing, not with music...)
30's-40's swing
crooners
jazz but not free-jazz
blues (the old black guys next Mississipi...)and old rythm & blues
electro 80's (don't forget the Cheyennes, babe!) and early 90's (Naommon's lesson! yes teacher yes!)
retro french singers and some of contemporary ones that are able to create something interesting with magic words... Benjamin B. m'a transcendée...
flamenco (I discovered singing and dancing flamenco, it changed my life!)
oriental music
reggae and ragga dancehall
hip-hop and r&b
every movie by Almodovà r
every movie by Claude Chabrol
french "melodrames"
mute and strange movies from the 20's-30's (burlesque cinema, "films noir"...)
old american movies with gentlemen and ladies... Hollywood baby!
every movie by Russ Meyer and most of all "Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill!"
every movie by John Waters and most of all "Cry baaaaaaaaaaaaaaby!", "Pink Flamingos" and "Serial Mother"
fucking movies or musicals I watched when I was a teenager ("La Boom", "Dirty Dancing", "Grease"...)
movies about vampires, romantic or rock 'n roll ones... bite's danger...
and concerning nowaday's cinema I love these actors: Javier Bardem, Vincent Gallo, Benoit Magimel, Jeremy Irons, Isabelle Huppert, Benoît Poelvoorde...
Most of all, I think I like watching "Un Dos Tres"... no no I don't feel ashamed!!! (and I'm sad there's no more on TV)
I love "Sex & the City" and "Desperate Houswives" too... and "Heartbreak High" makes me keep in mind my teenage!
TV is often turned on but I never watch it; it's a sound like people all around, not to feel lonely 'cause with music I can't concentrate. Too much memories...
Sometimes, I watch Daily News as an adult or social documentaries... "Striptease" for exemple... I love "normal" people on TV!!!
Watching TV is a good thing to fall asleep... Watch AB1 at midnight and forget everything! ahahah
XIXth and early XXth century's novels
poetry
books about History, Music, Sociology, Philosophy, Dance, treatises on Art, biographies and autobiographies...
Today, I could mention all Stefan Zweig, JP Sartre's "Les Mots", Bret Eston Ellis's Glamorama, Goethe's Werther, Arnaud Goetz's La Dormeuse de Naples, Colette's La fin de Chéri, Benjamin Constand's Adolphe,Michel Houellbecq's Lz Possibilité d'une Ile R-M Rilke, Billetdoux's C'est fou une fille Alfred de Musset....
and forever and ever Roland Barthes's Fragment du discours amoureux"... The Bible...
Well, for my nostalgic mind, I have to talk about all Poppy Z. Brite, Baudelaire and Rimbaud (teenage... but it stays!)
