Well you might have figured I'm not anywhere near 64 years old or whatever age myspace has said I am, but hey! why does that matter?!
I have a life long love of the music and films from the 1930s - 1950s and I love to dance.
Since 1998 I have been working as a SPECIALIST DJ playing stompin' dance music from the 1930s to the 1950s,
AND I have organised vintage themed club nights

Since 2003 I have had the pleasure of ORGANISING, HOSTING
HULA BOOGIE vintage music n dance nights, held at the fabulous SOUTH LONDON PACIFIC TIKI BAR in South London - which to me IS heaven*When I'm not in the DJ booth, I'm probably teaching someone to JIVE
- or TO do the HUKILAU HULA DANCE,(Every MONTH at HULA BOOGIE! - the first and only place in UK to regularly teach a hula dance). I have had the pleasure of teaching and performing all round Europe and England since 2002 (Davos - Switzerland, Treviso - Italy, Senigallia - Italy, London Luau -London,)
I may even teach you PEARLY SHELLS -
I ALSO RUN AN ONLINE SHOP WHICH SPECIALISES IN HANDMADE REPRODUCTION FASHION ACCESSORIES (particularly snoods)INSPIRED BY THE 1930s 1940s and 1950s
AND I ALSO ORGANISE A RETRO N VINTAGE MARKET AT SOUTH LONDON PACIFIC TIKI BAR

Television:

Gave up on tv a looooooooong time ago - too many repeats, housebuying, antique buy and sell and reality programmes. When I did watch I prefered comedies (My Name is Earl, Dad's Army, The Simpsons to name just three....)

Books:

Don't have a lot of time these days to read but when I do I like autobiographies (Shelley Winters had the best! Lana Turner - close second) My favorite book is OF MICE AND MEN and am trying to make it through the works of John Steinbeck, closely followed by Charles Dickens....

Finally out of Hospital!
