Cosmo was born in 1974. He first used a pair of turntables in 1992. Used to take over the decks from drunk DJ mates at their parties, then got his own 1210s and started making tapes and learning to scratch. Many years of party rocking sets and bumping tapes later, he got involved with The K2 Collective as a stage DJ and was then introduced to Roots Manuva's Banana Klan (a small roster of unsigned talent that included Jim Screech and Roots Manuva's own Hype-Man - RICKY RANKIN). This led to him becoming Jim Screech's permanent DJ and their shows together with Hype-Man Mikey Ranks have been well recieved all over the UK with a tour opening for ROOTS MANUVA (at Mr Smythe's personal request!) through numerous show stealing appearances at the infamous HOXTON PIMPS events where he's had the honour of spinning tracks for reggae legend DAWN PENN. He has had the daunting prospect of sharing the bill with the amazing BABU THE TURNTABLIST while supporting DILATED PEOPLES at the Jazz Cafe (f**king DOPE) and recently stole the show at U.E.A. opening the night for DE LA SOUL and DJing for UNIQUE HASTINGS (Dual Amp Records). He also produces his own beats, exclusive remixes/re-edits, plays Guitar and Bass, can scratch with just about anything and was the first to coin the term 'Muffin-Tops'....
