So who are these No-Hopers?
No-Hopers are a London based gang of reprobates who share a love of beats, beer and birds. Commercial Suicide is their first body of work, recorded in bedroom studios with hours snatched away from menial day jobs.
With a shared appreciation for rock drumbreaks, Juice Crew braggadocio and Beastie Boys goofiness, No-Hopers two MCs bring you GENUINELY funny punch-lines mixed with honest introspective lyrics. Oh, and they good looking.
Rapper/producer Real Life Styles met rapper Skelator LeBeau through mutual friends outside Londons legendary Deal Real Records, freestyling and sinking 40's. Discovering a like-minded disdain of fakers, haters and perpetrators, Mr Styles and Mr LeBeau combined like cheese and pickle to make a truly extraordinary sandwich...
While honing the No-Hopers live show it became apparent the sandwich needed another ingredient. Cue The Beast, a DJ to hold down the beats. Armed with turntable skills beamed live from 1982 and an insatiable hunger, it was clear that The Beast was the third No-Hoper.
The Commercial Suicide EP is the first installment of the No-Hopers story and has already been described as insane, catchy and original by those who know what theyre talking about.
