.....bands.....
Virgo
Virgo is my most recent band. The music by virgo is a mixture of pop, rock and singer/songwriter. The band consists of singer Ana Criado, guitar player Jeroen van der Ende, Gideon Fresco on drums and me on electric double bass.
The band was founded at the beginning of 2005. After recording their first EP in the mid of 2005 Virgo started playing on stage. I played in De Paap and Het Paard.
To read more about Virgo, please visit www.myspace.com/virgoweb or www.virgoweb.hyves.nl!
Ana Criado
Besides being the singer in Virgo, Ana is a very nice singer/songwriter. You really should check out her singing... If needed, I support Ana on double bass.
With Ana, I recently played in Rotown at the finals of De Grote Prijs van Zuid Holland.

To read more about Ana Criado visit: www.anacriado.nl or www.myspace.com/anacriado.
Stefan Oosthof & band
Stefan Oosthof is a singer/songwriter from The Hague. With guitar player Reinder Brandsma we perform as an acoustic trio. We performed at festivals like Live in your Livingroom, Do not disturb and played at Lantaren/Venster.
To read more about Stefan Oosthof & band go to www.stefanoosthof.nl.
former bands:
Black Heart Betty
This band did very well between 2000 and 2004. BHB played a lot on stages and was support act of the famous dutch band the Golden Earring for a year. BHB was part of De Popronde with which it played throughout the whole country. Besides Virgo's Jeroen and Gideon, Nathalie Hagen and Boudewijn Duijvesteijn performed in this band.
Broshim
I played in the band Broshim in 2004 and 2005. The music of Broshim is probably best descripted as a mixture of New Wave and Pop. The band won lots of smaller contests and reached the fourth place at the finals of De Grote Prijs van Nederland, the biggest band contest in The Netherlands.
The band quit after me and singer Stefan Oosthof wanted to play more acoustic. Stefan rejoined with guitar player Marten and formed the new new wave band Hasselhoff. (see: www.myspace.com/wearehasselhoff.)
Koud Vuur
This was my first real band in which I played several years. Pretty crappy I guess. Started as a joke, we played happy songs with dutch lyrics. The band was situated in the north of The Netherlands. After the moving of singer Bjorn van Rozen and me to the west of our country the band ended.
