I'm a fun-loving Cancer with Virgo Rising and my Moon in Leo. I love playing music, writing music, singing, & putting on shows. I also love vintage stuff, reading books, roller skating, petting cats, cooking, gardening, NPR, good coffee, hanging with friends, drinking red wine, eating cheese, and gardening.I've been formally trained in piano since the age of 5. I played marching drums in middle & high school and took some violin lessons during some of that time too. I decided to pick up electric bass in 1993 after making friends with some local bands, and also discovering the "surf scene" in Detroit in the early 90's. Then I switched to upright bass in 1998 to play rockabilly and country which I enjoy immensely. In 2004 I started the all-girl string band "Nobodys Darlin" and you can see us around Michigan. Spring 2007 I also started "The Veloras" with my friend Veronica Velora.
I was the Penalty Mistress for the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls in 2005, but retired in 2006 because I moved out of GR. Go see them when you get a chance!!!
You can usually find me around Saugatuck drinking at Phil's, The Boathouse, the Sandbar Saloon, or Everyday People Cafe. It's a fun place to live, and to visit.
