Update: New pictures in my pics. section... Question???? How did I get so many full size Snicker Bars and Three Musketerees Bars???? Who did that?
When I first entered the Myspace world my intent was to network for business. I am involved with a couple of other companies other than my own company (which I have had for 8 years). Obviously this keeps me very busy. I’m often asked what it is exactly that I do. I will be updating my blog with a detailed answer and client list (working on it now). I work with an extremely talented group of people. The short answer... along with online marketing and web site design we also do TV/radio commercial production, TV (show) production, storyboard to scripting, film and sound editing, all forms of print production, creative collateral (conception thru to final) from billboards to leaflets, etc... We also have a full recording studio. Let's just say we do a lot. You name it... we can probably do it.... hence multimedia production. And that was the short answer.
Since coming onto Myspace I have met and made many new and interesting friends outside of the networking aspect. Which has kind of changed my original intent, but because I’ve made new friends, etc… it’s a good thing!!! However, I will say that I am also a very busy person as we all can be at times(that’s what happens when your building something and have a goal). I am on the computer all day working and sometimes I just need a break from it. I do appreciate my friends and try and keep up with them as much as possible. In fact I have some of the most wonderfully talented friends! Everyone brings their own style, beauty, creativity and intellect to the party.
I am a big supporter of the military, children’s advocate and supporter of several charitable organizations. It’s not something I wave a flag about as I do this for my own personal reasons and satisfaction. I enjoy helping others and watching them succeed whether in life or business. I also offer my services free of charge to certain online charitable organizations, but you have to be a certified .org such as Child Help USA or The Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
Right now my main focus is my work. I do enjoy making new friends and getting to know people. Outside of my work, friends are the only thing I’m really interested in making…. Unless you have that WOW factor and can take my focus away (that just might be a challenge) ;-) .
Aside from work I love spending time with my friends and family. I'm also the type of person that can spend time by myself and not get freaked out over being alone. I do enjoy going out to clubs. However, I'm also not the type that lives for each day or weekend and going to the hottest spots for the sake of having nothing else in my life that's more meaningful. In other words - thankfully I've grown out of that phase of my life. I like to have fun with whatever I'm doing whether it's going out to clubs or staying home and enjoying time with my friends or family. I'm pretty adaptable to most situations. The ability to laugh and joke around is always a good thing.... would it bother you if the old song "Fire" from The Pointer Sisters came on and I started doing my rendition of it as Elmer Fudd? And if you know the song I am refering to.... bonus points to you!

Be still when you have nothing to say; when genuine passion moves you, say what you've got to say, and say it hot.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

Years ago I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down.

UPDATED - Thoughts on style and fashion. (this section will change from time to time)
High-heels change your posture, therefore change the way you walk, therefore change the way you feel. Couture-made four-inch heels are as easy to walk in as a pair of slippers. It is not the height of the shoe that makes it easy or difficult to walk in, it is the shape.
If you really can't learn to walk in stilettos choose heels that are wide at the top, and taper to a narrow half-inch square at the bottom. The highest heel that one can walk in (aside from certain fetish shoemakers, and I presume that walking is the last thing you'd do in these) is five and a half inches. The six-inch heel is a myth.
Be practical - wear pumps to work and heels to party. If you never wear high-heeled shoes, you'll never experience the bliss that is taking them off when you get home.

As long as an outfit fits your body, flatters your complexion and you have the personality to carry it off you can get away with almost anything. Confidence is all. If you are in doubt, a black dress will usually make you feel confident and almost always look stylish, even if it didn't cost a lot of money.
A good dress will make you feel sexy, confident and fabulous about your body.
Beware of the effect on drunken men a sexy black dress can have. Be pleased with any effect a dress has on a sober man.
There is a fine line to be drawn between over-cautious and over-flamboyant dressing. Err to much on the side of little black dress and you will fade into the annonymous masses of other women in little black dresses.
'A dress has no meaning unless it makes a man want to take it off.' - Francois Sagan

Too-tight t-shirts make your bust look like two pigs wrestling under a blanket. This is especially true for those women with bolt on breasts or naturally large breasts. Ask yourself... is that all you have to show off or offer? Don't ever wear any kind of slogan emblazoned across your chest. Wit should be heard from your mouth not read off your breasts.

'Fashion fades, only style remains the same.' - Coco Chanel

My Interests

Things that are soft on the outside and a little rough around the edges (smiles and batting eyelashes).
Fashion (design, photography, makeup artists, hair stylists, wardrobe stylists), photography (architectural, still life, scenic) art (classic to abstract), theatre, ballet, symphonies to rock concerts, science, history, astronomy, a nice hike on a cool Autumn day. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. Watching from my house as the dolphins jump through the waves (they get pretty close to shore) and hearing the seals out on the rock. Being out on the boat far off the coast where you can't hear a thing and just listening to the silence. Tantra Yoga and Hatha Yoga. I love to dance. I was a competitive dancer for many years so dance workouts are my prefered workouts such as belly dancing and hula. My youngest niece is an awesome competitive hula dancer.
I am Irish, German and French. Mostly Irish. I like to study Irelands history and have traced my families roots and origin of surname back to Ireland - County Meath. I've been learning the Irish Gaelic (Gaeilge) language (off and on). My word it is a difficult language to learn! Here is an easy example (don't sound it out... it sounds nothing like that) - a ghrá mo chroí
As you can see by my musical selections below, my tastes vary a great deal in music, as do my other interests. If it doesnt cause great bodily harm to someone.... I'm usually at least curious about it.
BTW - If you make it through all the text on this page kudos to you, your paying attention ;-)

I'd like to meet:

Mentally stimulating, original, funny, creative people. Honest, open, loyal, trustworthy, honorable all of these qualities are a must for any situation. Must know how to laugh at yourself and see the bright and positive side of life. If you can make me laugh (which is actually a pretty easy thing to do.... I make myself laugh everyday) and can keep up with quick witty banter I'd like to talk to you. Other qualities are taking the time to get to know someone and you are not a pushy, arrogant, energy sucking, draining person. You are comfortable and adaptable to various social situations and know when it's time to play and when it's time to show class and elegance... then hello. People who are uncomplicated.... life can sometimes be complicated enough.... no "train wrecks" lol... and keep the baggage to a minimum. Your only allowed one or two carry-ons
In short - those beautiful people (inside and out) that can bring something new and different to this party I call life.... you never know who will drop by the party!!!!
I do try and choose my friends wisely and I do look at peoples pages before adding them. I also REGULARLY rotate my top friends list...some of your are permanent though. I am very supportive of my friends projects or companies, however, I do ask that you refrain from putting a lot of "ads" up in my comments section. They may stay there for a short time but I will remove them. In an effort to help you I may start something new on my page such as a friends highlight section where I will highlight certain friends and their business or project. This would be done as time allows. One more thing.... sometimes I'm better at answering comments then email....it's sometimes quicker for me.
Networking - Finding like minded people with whom I can network and share ideas and interests. If you know me and know what I do... I want to network with you.
-------------------------------------------------------
Hanging with my family.... around the pool.... around the piano.... around the food..... around the love. My life is very blessed. I added a few new photos of the Fall touches I've added to my house. Plus some other pictures that should go into my bottom house slides... but I just stuck them in here it was easier at the time.

Music:

My musical interests range from classic symphonies to classic rock and just about everything in between. Music that is passionate, moving and that speaks to you. Music that can express feelings or emotion for you when you can't find the right words or that maybe no words can express. Music that makes me want to jump up and dance! I love music and prefer music and a good book or magazine over sitting in front of a TV screen. Ever want to know what kind of mood I'm in - listen to what I'm listening to.

Pink - U & UR Hand - Such attitude... love it! This is for you too E!

Rogue Traders - Vodoo Child

Shania Twain - Up! I've been told that apparently this video (lyrics and her movements)reminds people of me. Yes, I like Shania Twain.... yes I know she's country.... get over it.

Paul Oakenfold - Faster Kill Pussycat

Ferry Corsten - Fire

Shape Shifters - Lola's Theme

Positive song. Describes my daily beliefs perfectly. Whitney Houston - Step By Step

I'm obviously on a Whitney Houston kick. Whitney Houston - I'm Every Woman

Evanescence - Call Me When You're Sober

Nickelback - Far Away

Alanis Morissette - Thank You. This song has a special meaning to me

Movies:

Moulin Rouge (original and beautifully styled movie). Pride and Prejudice (The 2005 version with Keira Knightley) The Notebook (is this movie NOT on everyones list?) Goodfellas (Who doesnt like a good mafia movie?) Reservoir Dogs, A Few Good Men (classic Jack Nicholson speach "You want me on that wall. You need me on that wall") Office Space ("but that's my stapler... he took my stapler") Monty Python and the Holy Grail (everyone needs a "cow-tipult") Laura Croft and the Tomb Raider series ("This is where I start to have fun...") Seabiscuit (somehow I could relate to the horse - go figure) Galaxy Quest (laugh myself silly everytime I watch it) Pirates of the Caribbean (just to sit and watch Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom N.T.M. Ted E & Terry R) Which leads into - Shrek (You guys should have won the Oscar for screenplay!!!) Mr. & Mrs. Smith (love the cool delivery of the banter) Be Cool (what a cast of characters) Forrest Gump ("From that day forward if I was going somewhere I was running") All Audrey Hepburn movies she had such beauty, grace and style. Roman Holiday is one of my favorite films. I could go on.... :-)

Television:

Sex and the City, Band of Brothers, In Living Color. Entourage, Weeds, HBO, Discovery Channel, Bravo, Travel Channel, VH-1 (yes), History Channel, Sci-Fi Channel etc... If it's regular TV it's got to be funny or interesting to make me sit infront of a box.

Books:

Due to the nature of my business, I read a lot of technical books and papers. Usually reading 2 or 3 books at one time. I try and sneak a mind numbing book or magazine in every so often. Right now I am getting caught up on some back issues of magazines - Vogue, Vanity Fair, Architecture Digest, Entrepreneur, W, Interview (I'm really behind). Love to just go browse the bookstores and see what topic or book catches my eye. One of my favorite books (simply for the title) is "The Treasury of White Trash Cooking".

Heroes:

Those that give freely of themselves and their time without any thought of getting something in return. That ability is truly a rare gift to give and to find.
I also give a special thank you and salute to the men and women and their families in the military. So many are so quick to judge these brave men and women for their actions. I say take a good long look at yourself first before judging someone who's shoes you have never had the courage to walk in.
Thank you to those that protect and serve us daily in the civilian world. The police (my father a former marine and retired police officer) and firefighters (my brother a firefighter) and the sacrifices of their families. Unless you've lived it, you'll probably never understand the heroic efforts of their everday lives.
I think everyone is a hero or mentor to someone at sometime in their life. There are everyday heros among us. You just have to pay more attention and look around you. A hero is not necessarily defined by strength or bravery but also by heart and intent.
My Mom and Dad married 52 years and still crazy in love with each other. They are really something to see together. Perfect examples of love and sacrafice and raised 5 kids to boot!

Music is a HUGE part of my life. I find it expresses me better than I can verbally express myself at times. The passion and expression behind the lyrics and the melody can really get to me. Each of th...
