Ending rectal/cranial inversion among world leaders before we all blow up.
I already know a bunch of crazy-cool people - or cool-crazy people...whichever...but there's always room for more! I recently got a message from someone claiming to be Jesus so perhaps - If myspace is a gateway to the other side - I will set out to associate with the great (dead) thinkers of the 18th & 19th centuries and make them my best friends: Influential characters whose brilliance and artistry can only be captured through black and white photography. This will be valuable for a number of reasons, not least of which is that with the help of email exchange, I’ll be able to quote great thinkers of our past without ever having to read anything they’ve written, or see anything they've created. Cuz that crap’s boring…. But to quote my new buddy Miguel “Miki†Cervantes (who is currently designing his profile); “Show me thy company and I’ll tell thee what thou art.†I, ipso facto, myst be wicked smart…and very deep…and more than just a little angry. But to run with this crowd - I really need to figure out some more expressive facial hair. Anyone up for a sidecar over at the Algonquin? In 1926?
From the "itunes party shuffle:" Uffie, Robbie Williams with Jane Horrocks, Damien Rice, Extreme (i know, huh?), Yo Yo Ma, Skid FREAKING Row, Nickel Creek, Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole, Toby Keith (who may, infact, be my cousin), Notorious B.I.G. w/ Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Dane Cook, Tenacious D, Le Tigre, White Stripes, KRS One, M.I.A., Brad Paisley...I have musical schizophrenia.
Top shelf of my DVD collection...and yes…it’s alphabetized: All About Eve, Amelie, American Beauty, American Graffiti, American History X, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, As Good As It Gets, Beautiful Girls, A Beautiful Mind, Big Fish, The Big Lebowski, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bottle Rocket, Braveheart, Breakin’, A Bugs Life, Chappelle Show, Chicken Run, A Christmas Story,….this is too much typing.Get Your Own! | View SlideshowAs for movies I've produced, above are some shots from movies you may have seen, may not yet have seen, or may never see in your entire life.
NOW HERE IS STUFF! Tivo turns out to be a catalist for major addiction. Lately I'm dealing with Entourage, The Daily Show & Colbert Report, and Grey’s Anatomy - I’m still detoxing from a tough season of Lost. At least I finally kicked Nip/Tuck – that crap was DANGEROUS.
I NEVER LEARNED TO REEEEEAD!!!!! But on this summmer's cross-country roadtrip these audiobooks were a blast: Blink, Bill Moyer's 8 hour chat with Joseph Campbell, Wicked, The Millionaire Next Door, Everthing I Ever Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarden (I've had it for about 15 years but it continues to enthrall) and The News from Lake Wobegone.
