I LOVE ALL MUSIC THAT PUTS A SMILE ON MY FACE. I PARTICULARLY LOVE ROOTS CULTURE REGGAE MUSIC BECAUSE IS CONSCIOUS. REGGAE MUSIC TALKS ABOUT REAL ISSUES THAT ARE TRUE TO TODAYS SOCIETY. ISSUES LIKE OPPRESION, POVERTY, POLICE BRUTALITY, INJUSTICE, RACISM.... TO ME REGGAE MUSIC IS A MOVEMENT... IT HAS A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE. THAT IS WHY IT IS SO PRECIOUS TO ME...PEACE LOVE UNITY. It is important to support music that is uplifting, educational and conscious. We need to stress our youth about the value of conscious music because I feel they are being sidetracked by all the glittler, glamour and material things that they are being exposed to out there. It is up to us to prepare the youth and guide the youth because they are our FUTURE.

THERE WERE SPANIARDS THAT KILLED ALL MAPUCHE MEN AND CHILDREN AND THEN RAPED ALL THE WOMEN SO THEY COULD GET PREGNANT BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO START A NEW RACE. TODAY THE MAPUCHES STILL FIGHT TO GET BACK THE LAND THE SPANIARDS TOOK FROM THEM. TODAY THEY STILL FIGHT FOR EQUAL RIGHTS AND TO STOP THE OPPRESSION BEING IMPOSED UPON THEM.luchin BY Victor Jara.
