About Me

Born In Kingston, Jamaica. Mikkel Burrowes, (77klash) pronounced two seven klash got his first big break when Turbulence tune “Notorious” (produced By 77klash) went 1 on the Jamaican charts for four straight weeks. The tune peaked at 2 on the BBC1 Extra and stayed on the top ten reggae charts for the 3 months that followed.Klash brought back drum and bass to dancehall with the “Skallawa Riddim”. Following up on the success of his PunkCrunk riddim, “The Swarm” was the next big riddim to hit the streets . This Riddim features cultural artists like Lutan Fyah, Jah Mason, Natural Black and bad man artist such as Aidonia and Vybbez Kartel. The Swarm Riddim is available for sale on itunes and amazon on 77klash newly formed Klash City Reocrds. In 2006 77klash teamed up with Jahdan and Team Shadetek to make an underground cult classic “Brooklyn Anthem” on Sound Ink Records. The record sold 2,500 copies within the first two weeks of its release (all vinyl). “Brooklyn Anthem” became a groundbreaking record, the first of its kind!
