Spiritual Eco-Folk

About Me

Hi, In case you're wondering why I'm dressed like this, I'm from New Zealand and everyone in New Zealand dresses like this.
Well, not quite... I'm a meditation teacher, a monk of Ananda Marga and a yogi, as well as being a writer and musician.
I've been playing music since I was 6, and now I write, record and perform songs about spiritual experiences and ecological or human rights issues. I derive many of my ideas from myths and legends of different cultures and in performance I blend music, stories, humour, multimedia, and spiritual chanting to try and create an uplifting and enjoyable experience for the audience.
I've recorded three albums of original songs, and produced four others. I've been fortunate enough to play with some marvellous musicians including Paul Winter, Premik Tubbs and Daevid Allen and Harry Williamson from Soft Machine and Gong.
I now live in California.
Feel free to email me at [email protected]
