In the year of 1984, Nuno started playing music in private and school parties. One year later, he starts his first residence at a club in Oporto und until now he can't stop surprising us.
From 1994 till 1999, he was part of KAOS rec. team, participating in their famous parties has well as being one of the main supporters of the Portuguese sound, who was recognized by Danny Tenaglia and many others top Dj's from that period. For two years, Nuno Cacho produced a 2 hours radio show, pioneer in the north of Portugal, on Minuto Radio, called DANCE ZONE, which was transferred to Nova Era DJ Radio, after some months. During 6 years, he has been responsible for the selection of the imported dance music to FUGA´s store, in Coimbra and VINYL MARKET in Oporto.
Since the last 6 year, Nuno Cacho has been one of the most important elements on young Dj’s formation in the structure of all Dance Planet Dj School.
His sets are always lively and he defines them as: ... house, stylish and fashionable, very happy and old school, somewhere between Karvokian, Angel and HumphriesDuring the last decade he has played beside some of the worlds best Djs, such as: Tony Humphries, Josh Wink, Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, L L Vega, David Morales, Satoshi Tomiie, Angel Moraes, Dj Sneak, Eric Morillo, "Choo Choo" Romero, Sandy Rivera, Hector Romero, Lord G, Victor Simonelli, Rob di Stefano, Chris Coco, Laurent Garnier, Phil Perry, Miles Hollway, Elliot Eastwick, Ben Davis, Dick Johnson, Kenny Hawkes, Dj Harvey, Green Velvet, David Piccioni, Johnny Vicious, Peace Divisions Clive Henry, among others. For that, he has been mentioned in MUSIK MAGAZINE UK on the prestigious section "Those who rocked it", also at DJ Magazine and he was the cover of Dance Club magazine, on the edition of August 1999. During this year, he leaves his residence at the best Portuguese dance club, ROCKS, where he recorded the double CD: ROCKS the Real Dance Club Vol. 1, which was released by KAOS and sold into a gold marc (10.000 copies), to start a very strong carrier traveling all over. He was the first Portuguese to play at STEREO in Montreal, a Club he use to tell that was the best in the world ever.
Apart from his recognized Dj carrier, he was also international A&R for Heart and Soul, until laties 2001.Nowadays he has is own agency, Around The World Bookings (ATW), and he is producing his own project with his students. Urban Fusion and Motel Fetish are His new Alter Egos. .
