Dope Jo [Stereo Soldiers], as known as Massive, was always connected with music. At the age of 15 he started to play the drums, reaching some important goals in the portuguese music's industry. Funk, Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop and Soul were his major influences.
Because of his connection with drums, percussion instruments and basslines, his passion for House music was about to start. The musics scene was living its best time, and it wasn't difficult to absorb all the big House influences.
As a Dj he has played in Spain and all over Portugal, with names such as Angel Moraes, Jeff Mills, Peace Division, Rob di Stefano and more. Music production was his next step. He started to join all his music's influences into his computer. After he knew Alph, the two dj/producers decided to create the Stereo Soldiers project. A fusion between tribal and progressive house and other music styles.
Their debut single "SAX INSIDE" [Twisted America], a funky, percussive and hypnotic track, and the fresh new "STEREO SOLDIERS EP" [Harlequin] brought them to the international dance music's scene. New tracks coming soon...
