Bio:
Angelo Santos A.K.A “Luxer Deluxe” was born in the beginning of the golden decade of the 80's in the northern part of Portugal (Oporto).
Accustomed to hearing vinyl records since early on, on account of his parents musical taste, he got passionate for electronic influences of that time such as: Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Joy Division, etc…
These influences remained asleep in his mind until he was a teenager, when he got to know “Techno”, the musical style that became a passion and lifestyle for him, delivering himself with body and soul to this movement.
Little after this passion appeared he purchased his first turntables and mixer and everything started to flow…
After some years as an “Underground Dj” Luxer started to play in more well-known Clubs in northern portugal.
His notoriety in the booth is recognized almost instantaneously by the public with Dj sets that pass through Minimal Techno, Detroit Techno, Old School Techno and some Tech House.
Then...
Luxer Deluxe and other dj were introduced to each other in 2005 while working for two portuguese dance music companies "Bimotor" and "Danceplanet".
They had been solo artists for sometime, and when they really started to share visions and ideas about music in normal day-by-day conversations Luxer decided to form "Oporto Tech Methods", a duo that represented everything that they liked in the musical format "Techno".
"Oporto Tech Methods" performed Dj set..s that could pass over Minimal Tech, Detroit Techno and Old School Techno hits from the 90's, with 2 mixers 4 decks, or just in pure mentaly sincronized ping pong sets that could last for several hours.
The major ideia iwas to give lessons of good techno to the newest dancefloors, and Techno lovers, so they could see from were all this "history" came, and for were it was going nowadays, never forgetting the pleasure that they could offer to the older party people with memorable magical nostalgic moments.(Oporto Tech Methods tended to finish in middle 2008 due to carreer options of both artists)
As a solo artist he has passed through the major Techno events and venues in Portugal, and has played internationaly in countries like Spain or Switzerland, on clubs such as: Club Fellini (Barcelona), Crem Club (Genéva), Que! Club (Vigo), Industria.Porto (Porto), Rocks (Porto), Look Club (Viana do Castelo), Club Mau Mau (Porto), Mitto Club (Ermesinde), Swing Club (Porto), Triplex (Porto), Get It Club (Porto), Club Souk (Lisbon), Antonius Club (Vila do Conde), only to mention a few...
Obviously sharing booths with some of the most recognized Djs in Europe,and rest of the World, from all kinds of electronic music, like: Renato Cohen, Kazu Kimura, MirusLove, Nicolas Duvoisin, Apaul, J-Nat , Joton, David Flashback, Manu Martin, Darkrow, Jesus Del Campo, T-Viruz, Dj Ferro, Dj Slot, Dj Link, Carlos Fauvrelle A.K.A Morrice, Freshkitos, Nuno Forte, Hi Fidel Cartel, and so many others along all this good times...
With 24 years old now, and 9 of those same years behind the turntable decks, he decided to take his carrer seriously in to production.
Right now he edits on various European Labels, and the birth of is own label has already been given also, SCHEMATIC RECORDS.
A Portuguese based Label managed by himself and Steve Parker.
With focus on delivering "Dancefloor cracker" tracks of House and Techno or simple electronic music, from bouncy to deep, to mentally lifted music with no boundaries at all!
On january 2008 the journey started and the label counts already with 5 releases to be launched on March 2008.
