About Me
All began in the 90s, as the likes for the art of djing led this duo to individually approach music through a different angle. Residency at various clubs helped them build their music vision and led to their join alter ego, Redkone.
Redkone, Di Paul & Dextro, began their musical project in the year 2003, distinguishing themselves at both national and international scene, due to their production skills.
The duo counts already with more than 30 releases under there belt, between original releases and remixes, launched by some of the most prestigious labels of dance scene: STEREO PRODUCTIONS of the duo Chus & Ceballos, MAGNA RECORDINGS of Carlos Manaça & Paulo Rocha, STAR 69 RECORDS of Peter Rauhofer, CLARISSE RECORDS of Dj Mendo, AENARIA TRIBAL of Luca Ricci (...); remixed by artistas such as Chus & Ceballos, Offer Nissim, Carlos Manaça, Dj Paulo & Todd Duktevitch, Luca Ricci, Richie Santana, Crystal Symphony, Dj Mendo (...).
Past 4 years, Redkone have had numerous invitations to play at club and be part of events, throughout Portugal, such as:
S Club - Castro Verde, VCI - Freamunde, RS Klub - Costa da Caparica, Autarquia - Castelo de Paiva, Swing - Porto, Park Club – Vizela, Club 8 - Aveiro, Império Romano - Marinha Grande, Txilo - S. Brás Alportel, Box Club - Viana do Castelo, Queens LX - Lisboa, Faraó - Sta Cruz, Pessidónio - Figueira da Foz, Millenium - Faro (...).
Redkone were internationally represented by Di Paul’s act at Club Mangu (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic) & by Dextro’s act at Womb Club (Tokyo, Japan).
2008 will bring the much-awaited album of original releases by Redkone, launched by the Portuguese label Magna Recordings.
