WHAT IS THE CMFSA ALL ABOUT?
Well, bottom line we are about THE FANS of Country Music and we work to raise awareness, expectations, and goals for all Country Music Fan Sites. We do not profit and are supported by volunteers. We are not affiliated with any particular label, MGMT company, major market radio station, or any other Country Music business. We are independent.For artists... On the Official CMFSA site you'll find artists on major labels, but you'll also find many artists on Indie labels AND you'll find artists with no labels at all....ALL sharing the same page. It doesn't matter to us if you're a BIG NAME in Nashville or a NO NAME in Idaho. If you have fans that support you and want you heard then we work to help them do just that. We recognize quality fan run websites and myspace sites. We have a message board for them to post about you and leave links. We encourage them to share your music with all other Country Music fans. They can leave comments about you on our Guest Book and find resources to help them in supporting you. We are a direct link to Country Music Fans. You may post messages for them on the Guest Book and there's even a thread on the boards for artists to post to fans "Dear Fans". There are many ways to be involved with the fans of Country Music here.For Fans... On the Official CMFSA site you can post links to your favorite artists, post about them on the Guest Book and start a thread devoted just to them on our message board. You can participate in polls and help us choose new features to add to the site. You can learn about how to start a fan site by talking with others on the boards and find resource links to help you get started. You can find amazing new artists you might not have heard. You can even interact with some as some are members on our board. This is your site....and you make it so by participating and contributing.To Our Affiliates: We are deeply honored to have our banner/link on your Country Music sites. We are proud to display banners on teh CMFSA site so the fans can visit your sites and find wonderful articles, reviews, stories, pictures, music, interviews and more. We're grateful to have your support.

CMFSA MYSPACE AWARDS are given to those fan run artist myspace sites that actively promote the artist with a group of fans working together on the fan myspace page. If you are the Admin of such a site you may apply for our award. Please note: we do not give awards for individual tribute myspace pages. This award is for fan run street team myspace pages.
