Robert Allen Mycko began singing in his local church at the age of 13. The congregation enjoyed his singing so much, that entertaining became second nature.
Robert started playing drums with local bands. His love for country music lead him to teach himself the guitar. He began his creative writing and put words to his music.
Recording in the studio gave Robert the chance to express himself in many ways. Upon completion of "You're My American Hero", a reporter from channel 30 News heard the song and aired Mycko's story. The report was the start of many more interviews and helped launch his music career.
This lead to Robert becoming the first to ever entertain at the Connecticut State Capitol in the Lawmaker's Chambers. Robert's appearance at the capitol opened new avenues for his music.
This accomplishment put Mycko on the front page of the local papers and was also picked up by MSNBC."You're My American Hero" has been getting played on multiple country stations, with a growing fan base.
Robert Decided to relocate to Nashville TN. last october. Shortly after that Robert landed a dream gig, he was asked to be the opening atc for Heartland back in his old home state of ct. this past March. The Heartland show as a great homecoming for the Artist who just left 5 months prior.
