Ray Sanders

Ray Sanders has had 26 Billboard charted songs in his long and successful career. He won the ACM most promising New Male Artist Award in 1968. He also won an ASCAP Award for his recording of "ALL I EVER NEED IS YOU" It stayed on the charts for 16 concecutive weeks! He was a cast member of Hee Haw 1971-1973. He is a former Grand Ole Opry Member! He worked for Ray Price for two and a half years. He sang harmony with him on Price's hit "HEARTACHES BY THE NUMBER" As a writer his song credits include cuts by Waylon Jennings, Faron Young,Buck Owens,Warren Smith,Bobby Helms,and Bobby Austin. Ray recorded for Liberty,Republic,Imperial,United Artist,and Hillside. He also appeared in movies and TV series.He toured with Waylon Jennings,Buck Owens,Marty Robbins,Merle Haggard,Freddy Hart,Elvis Pressley,Loreta Lynn,Patsy Cline,Johnny Cash,June Carter Cash,Tom T. Hall,Tex Ritter,Connie Smith,Lefty Frizzell,and others. Ray currently lives in Hawaii. He plays the tourist resorts and writes songs!!! Recently I had two hit singles in Europe.
