...fight the fear we're all swimming in...

About Me

I am a singer/songwriter that grew up in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. I moved to Saskatoon because nothing remotely close to a music scene exists in Prince Albert. If you have been in Saskatoon in the last 4 years you have probably seen me at an open stage show, doing a bookstore or coffeeshop show, or serving as a guest in a friend's performance at one of the aforementioned venues. I am always playing music, always writing new parts and putting parts together as songs. In my spare time I like to make a good borscht and get lots of sleep. My girlfriend Becky keeps me inspired to push myself and try new things. We have even written a couple of songs together which I hope will be recorded soon. As for a full album, I have lots of songs besides what you see here. I hope to get into the studio, record all the parts, and have one out by February '09 at the latest. Thanks for taking the precious e-time to take a look inside my window to the world.

Influences: Likes: Rush, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath (Ozzy Years), Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Yes, AC/DC, The Who, Van Halen (NOT the Gay Hagar Years), Pearl Jam, Tragically Hip, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, I Mother Earth, TOOL, Dream Theater, Rage Against The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age , Radiohead, Big Wreck, Sloan, Tea Party, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, System Of A Down, Soundgarden, Crash Test Dummies, LIVE, Matthew Good, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chevelle, Coldfilter, Sexually Attracted To Fire, Volcanoeless In Canada, any Jazz you can pile on my plate. I like Music! I hate EMO, dislike country western, and am ok the odd time with rap. Mostly I like to enforce creativity; whether it is simplistic or not, I still will never write a country song. I want to write songs for people who may or may not be emotional wrecks, but can at least discern that they are listening to music to escape all that.
