As God said, crossing his legs, I see where I have made plenty of poets but not so very much poetry.

About Me

I'm in ReWrite now. For 30 years I worked in the movie and theatre business, but Hollywood didn't renew my contract a few years ago so now I'm reinventing myself. I've turned to poetry for artistic expression.....I've been published here and there. You can find all my poetry on AllPoetry.com under the screen names of RollingStone and Cisco Kid. Here are the links if you want to go there ....

In 2006 I sold my house in Dallas, near Duncanville High School, and moved to Arlington, Texas where I went to college back in The Dark Ages. I live in an apartment about a mile off campus, above the swimming pool (great view!) My two daughters and all my grandkids also live in Arlington, so I’m surrounded by family again. I’ve spent all the money I made off the sale of my home traveling – four trips to Mexico and a couple to New York City. I’m broke again, but I have some great material for writing prose and poetry. I’m currently working on a book of poetry about the places and people I’ve encountered in my travels around Mexico.
I’m too old to chase Life-In-The-Fast-Lane girls in their twenties, and the women I chase have to be at least older than my daughters (they’re both over thirty) I’ve run into a few health problems the past couple of years so I don’t party as crazy as I used to and I take better care of myself than I ever have before (I stopped smoking, I do the treadmill about 5 times a week, I take my meds and I've given up “recreational drugs”) I’m too young to give up Wild Women or artistic females who like old outlaws.
I have many friends in Mexico and I want to live there when I retire. I always carry a moleskin notebook and a digital camera with me (so don’t do anything you don’t want recorded!) I’ve known a ton of celebrities throughout my life, I enjoy riding horses and flirting with women. Other than a few other lil vices, I’m pretty harmless. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Hehehehe…..
