After more then 15 years in the music industry, singer/songwriter. musician/producer Renee has developed a unique style of music quite unlike anything else in the contemporary music scene, beautifully refined and poignant for someone of her young age. The signature sound of her music is the combination of organic orchestral instruments with elements of electronica and rich multilayered harmonies.

In late 2004, Renee was a finalist in Australia’s largest songwriting competition in two categories; top ten in the rock section top five in the APRA (Australian performer’s rights association) songwriter category. In 2005, Renee also made the top five , this time in the acoustic section with her song Show You How. 2006 saw Renee make the finals of the Newcastle ABC Music Awards with the song Slip Through My Fingers. Since then she has been in the studio creating and refining her debut album.
In 2005, Renee released an album as half of a duo under the name 'Aventine'. The album '11 hours and 34 minutes' was released commercially through the label Gorilla Music and distributed nationally by Shock and them MGM.
