ESTHER JAMES

My name is Esther J.F. James and I am originally of the island called Trinidad. I have been in church all my life but really and truly seen the hand of God from age 17. I am the daughter of Pastors Francis and Beverly James who overseer God's Word Outreach Centre in a town called Arima. Currently I’m pursuing my new passion of promoting Gospel events and just go where the Lord leads me in that regard.For many years I have been like any -ordinary PK {Pastor's Kid}, just warming the seat of the church or if I was called upon to participate the fire wasn't there to serve him. I was the type that was quiet, withdrawn with not much to say or do because I lived in bondage to the thoughts and talks that persons had to say about me or that I had toward my self. I was battling with friendships that I knew weren’t healthy where my relationships with Christ was concerned. Like most people I found it hard to let go and move on without them because without my knowing I was what most may call a people pleaser. Beside the struggle with friendships I battled with the type of music that I listened to as well. Most persons don’t understand the power of it and become bound to what may seem to “sound good” and have you on a “high” with consequences to it.Going to a church camp in the year 2005, I challenged God to erase my past and to send someone to tell me to my face that all that I was doing was indeed wrong. Little did I know that what you ask for of God, you may just get it.This request troubled me in my soul, as I wondered “What if one of the pastors can hear or see what really goes in my life. This request was answered on the last day of camp when I was called upon by a lady pastor who prayed for me in the bedroom while everyone was away. She at the time was known to be a very good friend of my father but didn’t know who I was or did I know her. She proceeded to talk to me about my deepest fears and how God knows all of it and reminded me that He never left me and the great things were ahead for me. That was the first one that God hit me. Later that night with all the youths gathered about she singled out folk and began to pray and prophecy over their lives. I was afraid of what was coming…., then my turn came. She said to me plainly who it was that I needed to leave out of my life and I broke down in tears.I came to the point where I was at an all time “low”. As I ran away from the crowd I went into the bathroom and began to cry out “I’m sorry…I’m sorry” then I felt like arms wrapped about me and held me tight. From that day forward I was never the same. My prayer has always been….” Stir my spirit to do something new and different….make me the head and not the tale…..cause me to be like Esther and lead a generation differently….cause me to see what others can….and above all those network me with the right people and work on my attitude towards them. Cause me to love unconditionally like you and serve and please you!To anyone reading this God is real. If you have mad mistakes in you life…., He can erase that pain….just call on that one name JESUS ad He can complete you! Begin to make declarations over you life…. Say that you are blessed, you are well, call forth wealth, health, strength to go on, FAVOR in every circumstance and every situation, call forth peace to calm storms in your life and call upon the Holy spirit for wisdom, grace and a peace that can ensure your soundness of mind.
