He is like a Smooth Caribbean Blend of international voices, of ministers such as Smokie Nortful, Donnie Mclurkin, a musical style of Trinidad's Russell Leonce and the energy Micah Stampley, yet his personality and lifestyle of worship is eminent in this refreshing new sound of Curtis Jordan.Born on June 16th , 1987 ,and lives in the Island of Trinidad and Tobago, this Dynamic, Talented and highly Anointed young man of God, Curtis Jordan, gave his life to the lord at the age of 15, and the fire and anointing of God that is upon his life has only increased since then.
Anyone would agree that the Future of Gospel music in the Caribbean is in safe hands after being in Curtis's presence, on and off stage.
Curtis currently is a member of Deliverance Temple International where he serves as the choir director, but he started is journey about five years ago in the Arima Deliverance Temple Church as his Pastor, Rev Roger Mendez’s personal assistant then joining the Choir. It was there that his talent and musical ability was discovered. It wasn’t long after when he moved on to join and lead the singing group “Dunamis". In the year 2005, Curtis Jordan started doing Solos and eventually formed his own Band, which currently consists of six Background Vocalist, a keyboardist , percussionist, traps man, Guitarist and Bassist. Since then he have been ministering in churches and concerts across Trinidad and Tobago.
God has truly blessed this young man and opened a door for him to do Background Vocals in Israel and NewBreed's Show in Trinidad along with the Album and album launching of Trinidad and Tobago's Top Female Vocalist of the year 2006, Melissa “Precious" Brown. Curtis Has been favored tremendously in his youth having the privilege of sharing with Stage with the likes of Isaac Blackman and The Love Circle, Mr. Danny, Barbara Flemming, and Broadway Boys just to name a few.
He has ministered in many concerts such as "Summer Soul Harvest 07" and “Favor 2007", which featured four International Artist and fifteen of Trinidad and Tobago's Biggest Gospel Bands.
He have been writing his own music for the last four years and performing Live, but he is expected to start recording early in 2008.
Curtis Jordan, a well grounded, focused young man with a heart for God, a passion for music and a mandate to win souls for the Kingdom.
