Chriselle's early childhood was spent singing lustfully in various church events in her community. She joined her school's choir and through the choir she entered various musical events such as the National Music Festival & Music Fest to name a few where she received certificates and special prizes.Being in a choir, is where Chriselle was truly at home. She loved the idea of team work and the necessity to depend on others for support. In her church choir is where she found the most fulfilment. In her eyes her fellow members were no longer a choir they were brothers and sisters. Many times if her family was unable to make it to an event Chriselle understanding the importance of team work held the rein for the group. It is through these solo events that her ministry truly blossomed.Being a student of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Chriselle used her music as a means of escape. Escape from the school work, the stress, the exam papers; she drowned herself in a pool of public commentary, poems and songs. Even on campus she shined her musical light offering a way of escape from teenage pressures by highlighting the love of Jesus Christ to her peers and various students. As a member of UWI's Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship (I.V.C.F) she graced the auditorium on many a nights, singing her heart out. Chriselle always wanted the opportunity to accomplish great and wonderful things for Christ. She always wanted to touch lives across all spectrums, so she availed herself fully to God's will and plan and allowed in to direct her ship. She would never regret the decisionIn November 2005 Chriselle was chosen to represent her beautiful country Trinidad & Tobago as a part of a One Hundred and fifty (150) member team at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Hollywood, L.A in August 2006. Her dreams were becoming a reality as she was now going to infiltrate the International Market with her songs of praise and worship to God.As she prepared for the trip a powerful young man came into her life Adisa "God's Farmer" Sampson of the Anointed Ones. They befriended each other and he was always there as a shoulder to lean on. He was the one who gave her the alias Virtuous because of her warm heart and pure soul which she is developing, becoming the woman described in Proverbs 31. He knew she had a great call on her life and in his single "Before the Alter" on the Pillar of Salt Riddim he featured this new talent. On hearing her voice she was complemented and received by the Anointed Ones family and producer Jah Servant himself.Later she would work with Jah Servant to producer her first single and master piece Thankful, which at present is rocking the underworld market in Trinidad. As Virtuous continues to triumph over evil she is going to take the world, not just by storm....but by force.
