View Sons of Zion's EPKComing from the beautiful twin island nation of Trinidad and Tobago, Sons of Zion is currently working out of the Servant's Quarters Production Studio, whose owner, Jah Servant, is also their producer. Sons of Zion began in early 2006, through the mutual friendship of our labelmates, Mission Epistle. During a recording of one of Mission's songs, which featured Curtis , Andrae passed through the studio and met him for the first time. Both were inactive in music for quite a while, but from there things began to fit together and mesh, rekindling their love for music, the snowball effect was in full swing and since then they have never looked back. Sons of Zion's style is mainly influenced by the old school reggae, that of Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Beres Hammond and such others, and combined with their own, including R&B flavoured harmonies, brings a sound like no other. They are also very capable of combining the modern style of reggae without straying to far from the roots. Also very close to their heart is the native music of Trinidad and Tobago, Soca, a very fast paced infectious style that you can't help but move along with. What seperates Sons of Zion from the rest, besides their music, is their willingness to learn from others and remain humble in everything they do, realising that we are all human beings, and we are no better than anyone no matter where our level of status reaches. Sons of Zion brings a message of love, hope, encouragement, strength, faith and that Jah is real and wishes to have a loving friendship with us all, no matter who you are. It is hoped that some sort of positive change can be influenced through their music, world get ready, Sons of Zion is here to stay, one love.To book Sons of Zion for any event, they can be contacted by calling Ms. Judy-Ann LeMitre at 1-868-748-1777, Mr. Sule Dyer at 1-868-315-0345 or by emailing us at [email protected].
