My Interests

I spend my childhood among oils, canvases, paintbrushes, paintings of my father, ships, different harbours, ear-phones, radio-noise, songs of Vladimir Vysotskiy. My Dad has been a painter, a poet and he worked on the ship as a chief of radiostation. Are you still eager to know the truth about my personality? Stop reading this if you never ever caught the feelings of being a painter. But, who knows perhaps you are kind of verbal painter or mental painter. OK. Forget about the rules for a while. I tell you something. My father has died when I was five. The all colours that I used to know as a bright living colours faded away as quick as Ferarri may fly on the highway, if there a driver inside with the nostrils full of white poison. Schooltime. Nothing interesting I guess. Especially when you growned up in the USSR. Brezhnev time. The good things was the summer vacations. Pioneer camp, open air dancefloor with beautiful view at the seashore. First time dancing with a girl) keeping distance about a meter) Music from bands like Boney M, Arabesque, Chilly, Space, Ottowan. D.I.S.C.O forever! Modern teenager talking about U.F.O., hard life in America)) vampires, murders, drawned people etc. and, of course, about bubble-gum;) People who ever had a pioneer-tie in the wardrobe knows what I'm talking about right now. In the 1987 I studied in marine-school in the gloriuos city Kronstadt near St. Petersburg. I forgot to tell you that from the age of five I started to write a poems. At 12 I took guitar to my hands to learn first sounds of strings that really drew blood. Kronstadt was a good place for my first undeground sessions with a friends. If we would have a studio that time we would record a songs with a sound and a power much stronger then from Sex Pistols) The end of a hot decade called eighties I spend in the north of Russia. Have you ever been to Archangelsk? City of greatest artists in Russia. It's a big and very interesting chapter of my life. First jazz-festivals, rock-festivals, first international bussines. Tea on the midnight kitchen, conversations under green light... First soviet undeground magazines, recordings...Meetings with an artists from Norway, Italy, USA, UK. In 1991 I studied in the Russian University of Andrey Sakharov in Lichtenfels, Schloss Schney in Germany. One more fantastic chapter you could read in the nearest future in my book) Have you ever visited Amsterdam in 1992? Have you heard about place called Patapoe? Real place for real undeground artist. Many of them died already. Mystical place. That was a revolutionary time! First acid-house parties, very strange perfomancies....exgibitions, art-galleries, trips to Mars and Venus)) Do you know the song from Shocking Blue "Venus". I reckon that they made this song not about sex appeal feelings to a girl. It's a song about another revolutionary time from 70's] By the way, Shoking Blue is from Holland. Middle 90's in Germany. Bavaria. My germane friend called himself A.C. Guess why! He couldn't play any musical instrument, but he was very deep in alcoholic-acid-art) He was one of the best in repairing cars in the city, and he made a very nice photos. Nobody could drink as much beer as he does) Since that time we recorded many wild tracks in his BMW-garage. Wild music! You can try to mix it up tracks from Psychic TV & The Birthday Party. Tried it already? So, now you know how we sounded like) In 1996 I returned to Ukarine. First FM-stations, first night-clubs, first parties in Ukraine. Most popular music in the clubs at this time - Scooter. Such a disgusting german happy-techno-dullshit-pop. Can you imagine how people was astonished when you played for them not a Scooter, but stuff from Orbital, Carl Craig, Hardfloor, UK Apachy & Shy FX! Another revolution in the minds) Since that time (sorry, I'm tired to write all this stories) I worked in the clubs, radios, even had my own animal protection charity fund, advirtisment agency etc. Now I'm doing advirtesment, create some parties, perfomancies, radio-shows. At the end of this introduction I would say: Girls & boys now you know how important is the childhood smell. If you growned up among oils, canvases, paintbrushes, ear-phones - you'll be for 100% creator. So, please, don't waste your time - CREATE something good & new for our history!Sincerelly yours,Natural born Creator Eric Tchaikovskiy
