"Rock 'n roll served up by guys who clearly grew up against the backdrop of the 1980's in Western Europe" sums up what the music of this five-piece is about. In describing the 32 Ohm sound, some critics make references to the British, American and German eighties. Though 32 Ohm’s compositions are not strictly limited to just the one style, their trademarks are solid eighties rock and catchy songs jam-packed with atmosphere in which the synthesizer plays a distinctive role. After their debut season in 2006, as a three-piece armed with a computer processing the rhythms, the band has expanded with a rhythm section of flesh and blood. In 2006 the band arrived on the Dutch-Limburg pop scene with a place in the finals of the Podiumvrees Festival. 2007 has been all about releasing their debut EP “Tripod” and shaping their new songs, getting ready for a new series of performances.
