About Me

Sleazy Dreams is a Dutch/Belgian heavy rockband and has been around since 1992. Several changes in bandmembers have lead to the current line-up of two guitars, drums, bass, and a leadvocalist.
The band has played throughout the Netherlands, Italy and Germany in bars, at festivals and bikerfests.
Live you can see an energetic band working their ass off and interacting with the audience. Musicwise they play their own stuff (along with some covers of the Stones, Herman Brood, and Slayer).
It's an energetic and explosive mix between oldschool hardrock and current day punkrock.
On 23th of june 2007 Sleazy Dreams has released
the new 4 track single/EP: 'Good Busy Then!'

"With 'Your Song' I had the opportunity to put more of my own playing style on the track. Which mostly leads to the use of slap & pop techniques and strumming. I like the pounding bass and drums in the verses and the melodic chorus with the massive backing vocals. With the other tracks I kinda stuck to the original parts 'cause they were already written before I joined the band."

"I wrote the lyrics when I had a really long (night)shift. I realized that there wasn't a song about the prettiest girl alive....I smoked some weed and started writing..."

"This song is a very basic guitarriff on my part, which is kinda nice to do; basic, yet very effective. I`m particularly proud of the backing vocals in this song."

"Well, I'm basically a funkateer so what am I doing in this band! Listen to this track and it's somewhere in the back."

"This song was written in the new line-up. Cool song, especcially the backing vocals in the chorus!"
'Titanic'...in the movie it took 3,5 hours...
We do it in less then 3,5 minutes!

"On 'Titanic' I really like the building up to the climax. The middle part of the song is like a prelude to an orgasm."

"I wasn't too fond of this song in the beginning. It was already written before I joined the band. Now I love the powerful chords and especially live it's a great song!"

"I wrote it, and still don`t know where I came up with the lyrics, and the title. Again a very basic riff from me, with a nice sauce of Joeps guitars on it. Powerful song, especcially live."

"We created this song in 2003, it got polished a bit and with Roel as a lead singer it got a new touch I guess."

"This track has a great guitarriff from the start 'till the end and an awesome climax."

'Highway Suicide' starts of smooth and sleazy... Then builds up to give wood!

"My moms' favourite! The ballad-like intro part did the trick I guess.
I especially like the unison guitars in the solo part."

"Simply love this song! The lyrics are about a guy who found out that his wife got killed by the tsunami, and killed himself in a bike-accident."

"The ballad-like bit had been in my mind and fingers for over a year before we tried to turn it into a song, catchy song with great lyrics on it! Proud of my Slayerbit in the end. (No-one will hear it, but it`s there somwhere!)"

"Well, I love this track, its very open and yet powerfull, this song is as far as I'm concerned the other new side of Sleazy Dreams."

"One of my favourite tracks. It's a blast of energy, in your face style. And that's the way I like it! I especcially like the break with ClÃ©ments brilliant drum-fill somewhere in the middle of the track"

"This is the other side of us that we will cherish; like I said I'm basically a funkateer but this is what I'm looking for to get rid of my energy residues. Playing like this is the real deal live !"

Influences: Sleazy Dreams is wellknown for their broad range of musical influences. In their music you can recognise a lot of different rock and punkrock related influences.

Influences range from the melodical guitarsolos of late seventies rock to the energetic explosive power of current day punkrock.
