About Me

KOTD LIVE @ TMF REACTION! brand new song: Lights (acoustic)
Kings of the Day is an energetic, fresh, modern and attractive unit of four friends, melting together different styles of indie-music. The will to enjoy everyday life and overcoming the challenges that we face every day, made us realise that life is just what you make of it. KOTD stands for being proud and happy about life, that every mistake, every faillure and every struggle has a reason, the reason to go on. We've thought this over a couple of times, and we felt like this is the best way to put it...
It took us a year of hard work and loads of spoken words to find a type of sound that we wish to describe as indie. Inspired by bands such as Bloc Party, the Killers and Taking Back Sunday, KOTD spend allot of time towards becoming a new indie-rock band.
At the end of 2006 our inspiration, dedication and love resulted into our first official EP. From now on KOTD is looking forward to play a lot of shows and enjoy every minute on stage.
We hope to see you on our next show!
