About Me

I'm Sander and I'm 19 years old.
I am an experienced drummer and I am trying to get a musical career going on :)I have been a drummer since I turned 6. I recently started as a teacher, which is very cool to do! It teaches me incredibly much!
I have played in two bands: Viva Lost Vagueness was my first, after that came Mouthful, in which I still play.
With Viva Lost Vagueness, we entered a schoolband competition called: "PoPSport". The winner of that competition would get a videoclip. We got into the finals with 5 other bands, out of 30 bands who signed in. We also did the "Kunstbende" once, but we didn't get a prize. I hope that Mouthful will be participating in the next Kunstbende. With Mouthful however, I also did large performances, but in a shorter timespan. I joined them in February 2006 and now we are rocking and writing own material! I had a gig at the School of Rock, which Nick and Guusje organised. Festina Lente played there, as well as Green Lizard. After that came the Booch? Festival. We had the honours to open the festival. De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, The Infadels and Dank (my uncle's ex-band) played there as well. So we are getting close and now we are working on own material, it should be just a matter of time before we get well-known :)
It has always been my dream to be able to live of drumming.

About me
I'm Sander and I'm twenty years old.

I am a Tax Law student at the University of Maastricht. In my free time, I play the drums. For twelve years I've had drum lessons. At the Kumulus (School of Music/arts in Maastricht), I passed my grade D exams.

I have played the drums in three bands: Viva Lost Vagueness, Mouthful and Giants Stole my Bike. I don't know why all my bands have stupid names, it's not me who made them up! :D

I've started my own band with Erik (a friend) and Nick, (a friend and former bandmember of Mouthful), called Giants Stole my Bike Too bad we already split up. Our musical tastes were too far apart...

Now I have been asked to become the new drummer of the band WIRED. More classic rock covers and the ambition of writing own material! Erik, of Giants Stole my Bike, is the new singer.
