The FilmGuru

All of life's riddles are answered in the movies.

About Me

I'm a writer, film reviewer, and all around geek. My reviews are published at FilmGuru.Net , a site dedicated to independent and mainstream films.

My Interests

I love film, television, reading, and spending time with my wife, Rachel. When I'm not watching movies, writing movie reviews, or working on my website, I enjoy a lazy Sunday morning reading comic books over a cup of coffee.

I'd like to meet:

Jon Favreau, Sam Raimi, Bryan Singer, Bruce Campbell, Christopher Walken... Interesting actors, writers, and directors who are willing to be interviewed for my site!

Music:

My collection is primarily made up of motion picture soundtracks. I love to hear the music of a good film. Some of my favorites are: Garden State, Kill Bill, Vol. 1, and The Wedding Singer.

Movies:

In the past 20 years I have seen over a thousand movies in theaters. Literally. I keep track. I know that's weird, but I have a list. There are hundreds of great movies that I consider outstanding work, but the M. Night Shyamalan film Unbreakable touches my life on a number of levels, making it very important to me.

My Blog
