ACTION JAXSON

Chris ‘Action” Jaxon began his career as an on-air radio personality over a decade ago in Tucson, Arizona at a top 40’s station. In 1994 Jaxon moved to DC and made the switch to a hip-hop station. While in D.C, Jaxon began cycling in various charity rides to raise money for AIDS/HIV charities. He found quickly that this was his passion in life, raising money and awareness to for the devastating AIDS epidemic. Every chance Action gets, he lends a helping hand to the fight against HIV and AIDS. . Action cycles in the Tanqueray AIDS Rides in New York, DC and San Francisco, the Charity Challenge Bike Tour, the Lone Star Ride yearly. He is also the CO- emcee of Razzle Dazzle Dallas, a member of former Mayor Kirk’s Reading Team, AIDS Service of Dallas volunteer & Advisory Board member, Deep Ellum Film Festival’s volunteer emcee, the organizer of one of Dallas’ Largest HIV Testing Drives. Most recently Action was named ‘2002’s Business Person of the Year’ by the Mesquite chapter of the NAACPAction Jaxon can be heard on 97.9 Monday through Saturday from 2p.m. to 6 p.m.Where were you born?
