My name is Church and yes I'm a preacher's kid and a mama's boy. But I don't know if that is a bad thing... alot of folks seem to think so. But you can't tell a book by its cover. You have to get to know a brother! I'm a clown!!!!! I like to have fun and laugh ALOT.
On the serious note, I just moved to L.A. from Chicago and I'm just checking out the site for networking purposes. Now your boy has just invaded the ATL. It's on!!!!!! In my past life (lol), I was a Luster Hair Care Model. I got my first start doing print work. I have been in VIBE, Jet, XXL & Sports Illustrated. I was in the runway industry for 3 years and was blessed to be able to travel and get to see the world and meet alot of people and I mean alot. Now, I've been doing this acting thing for about 5 years. I just started doing the stand up and improv thing and 4 some reason think I'm funny. But deep down I am shy as hell. But I cover it up well.
I love my family and close friends...they are my heart. That is why I am in L.A. right now. To go for my passion and set my family up 4 life, and it will happen, just you wait and see. I'm determined to leave a legacy of success for my seeds. But only with the help of the Big Man upstairs. Right now you can catch a brother doing gospel plays, hosting shows, on runway lineups, acting a fool on digital cable channels in a city near you in 2008!
I never dreamed that I would be doing something I love and getting paid for it. I thought that I would be stuck in Gary,IN all my life working at the steel mill. THAT WAS NOT ME. Life is too short so do what makes you happy and the money will come. Trust me. I have hit the bottom but I always seem to end up on top. That's from having a praying mother and grandmothers.
