About Me

Born and raised by a classical music loving piano teacher and a Hank Williams devotee prairie boy gave Joseph Blood a unique mix of influences. He began writing songs and at the age of 13 and gigging and touring professionally by 17. His versatility as a guitar player has made him a highly touted Vancouver session player for both recording and touring. His writing, a unique blend of country, pop and americana, is now gaining him recognition for being a fine up and coming songwriter.As a guitar and bass player, Joseph Blood has played stages across Europe and North America with a variety of Vancouver acts including Nim Vind, Crystal Pistol, Ben Sigston and Jessica Beach. His debut solo release â€œOn the Road With the Killerâ€ is his first solo release.ALSO, I play guitar and bass for a number of other bands including THE PRICE OF DRUGS THESE DAYS IS THROUGH THE ROOF, NIM VIND, CC VOLTAGE and a handful of others so I'll be posting those show dates as well...This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5
