From the sweet morning dew the fresh air gently gives lift to a precious melody unlike any other. The melody effortlessly coasts through the trees, kissing the sky and enticing every branch, butterfly, flower, and blade of grass to heed the power of this day. As every atom in it’s path is drawn into the sound of the voice embedded in this rich gust of wind and song, a new sentience arises, bringing subtle movement to a seemingly still forest. Mother earth passionately guides the song across the ocean, the mountains, the desert, and into the hearts of those who listen with a sense of deep peace and serenity. When moonlight falls and the earth again becomes still, this spirited zephyr will rest until tomorrow where it will rise again; perhaps more playful, caring, happy or sad, but still of the same creator.
Jeremy’s insightful lyrics combined with the rich sound of his mahogany guitar give rise to something quite unique and incredible. Jeremy would describe his song writing experience as “getting lost in a sea of melody and words which take me far away then gliding my way back to shore, leaving me with something that feels as though it were meant to be. Something that I can call realâ€. Others have described Jeremy Thom’s music as “heartfelt and socially conscious“ while his more playful side has been called things like “surfy acoustafunk†and “mellow-licious yum rockâ€. One thing is for sure, Jeremy’s songs are packed full of catchy hooks and memorable lyrics.
After a lifetime of moving from city to city every few years he has now found a place to call home on the west coast of Canada. Jeremy has created multiple bands, set lists and albums of original material, and is currently writing and performing as a solo artist.
