Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you all know, that SEIRS may seem in active during this month, but in actuality it will be undergoing some reorganizing and restructuring. Just some simple stuff to make things run better... for everyone.
Make sure to look for a SEIRS ad in an upcoming Substream Music Press issue, and hopefully some more SEIRS sponsored shows!

Press Release: Muscatatuck Music Festival 2008!
The 4th annual Muscatatuck River Music Festival (formerly River of Blues Music Festival) will take place at Muscatatuck Park in Jennings County, Indiana on May 10, 2008. The park will be open only to ticket holders for the festival. The music starts at 11:00 in the morning and runs continuously until 11:30 in the evening. Tickets will be available starting February 1 and will cost $10 in advance or $20 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free with paid adult admission.The 2008 festival features 11 bands – 650north, The Early Evening, Sweet Dilemma, Rusty Bladen, David McMillin, Code Blue, Surrender Dorothy, Franny Hall, Younger Brother, Concept, and Kolassin K and the Two Ton Twos- all bands from or with strong connections to South Central Indiana.
Tonya Haze of Indiana's rock station Y106 will return for her 2nd year as festival MC. Starting this year, Y106 is the official radio sponsor of the festival.The Muscatatuck Park campground will be open for the festival weekend, and special festival camping packages will be available.The festival will partner again this year with Friends of Muscatatuck River Society, an environmental group whose purpose is to improve and maintain the Muscatatuck River by promoting responsible involvement, conservation, environmental education and recreation. FMRS will host a booth at the festival and will organize and benefit from our 2nd annual charity raffle. Sponsors of the raffle are Tom Pickett's Music Center in Columbus, who have donated a Fender Standard Strat, and Painted Axe in Indianapolis, who will custom paint the guitar to represent the environmental theme of the festival. Our 2nd Annual Charity Cornhole Tournament, sponsored by Joyce's Flowers and this year sanctioned by the American Cornhole Association, will also benefit FMRS.A variety of food vendors will be on hand including Kingpin's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que and Kountry Kids Kettle Korn. A beer garden will serve adults 21 and older who provide ID.
