About Me

Derrick Stevenson, Chris Nottingham, and Dave "Doc" Rouse had been playing acoustic gigs on and off with each other throughout most of the summer and early fall of 2006. Doc and Chris decided they wanted to have a full electric band, so Derrick asked John Naffziger to play drums. Dan Biner was soon added at keyboards to fill out the sound. They are working hard on well written and strong songs to captivate audiences throughout the Midwest.Doc abruptly left the band in the winter of 2007. Larry Ivy, a talented and established bass player (more importantly a talented musician) joined the band to fill in. His first show was on January 20th, 2007 in Eaton. The future still looks bright for the band and they are headed into the studio in early February. In March and early April of 2007, the boys from the other side of the tracks recorded their first EP titled Stories From Cloud 9. It was a blast of righteous rock with a little grit and a lot of soul. Proud of their work, Drummer John Naffziger explained, "We recorded it in a friends garage and it turned out solid. We had good times and got funky, plus we did most of it at 3 am." SelifaneParade07

The one and only Johnny Naff has quietly left the band

Sadly, our drummer Johnny Naff has quietly left the band.  We are all sad to see him go.  Good luck and thanks for everything buddy!  Despite his absense, TSP will go on with a new drum...
